BASF completes the plan to acquire Corning India Company

according to foreign media reports, BASF India recently completed the acquisition of Corning special chemicals business in India for 1.34 billion rupees (about 2.9 million US dollars)

it is estimated that 20billion yuan will be needed for this acquisition, which is completed according to BASF's agreement to acquire global Corning company, including all its assets and liabilities. India Koning Specialty Chemicals Co., Ltd. is a part of Koning company, which is controlled by permira fund, GS Capital Partners and SV life sciences. Last year, BASF acquired Corning company for 3.1 billion euros. The plan is expected to increase the income of 275million euros by Richard Northcote (1 on the right)

Corning company is a chemical supplier based on renewable raw materials, mainly serving cosmetics, coatings, detergents, lubricants, agriculture and other fields

BASF India is mainly engaged in manufacturing and agricultural solutions. In the face of high-performance chemicals, Toray company of Japan recently launched the salacona market of nylon fabric series in spring and summer 2015, mainly for the agricultural, textile, papermaking, pharmaceutical, automotive and other consumer goods industries

previously, BASF India has acquired Ciba India Limited and its subsidiaries. This transaction is also part of BASF's plan to acquire Ciba Global Holdings
